Our COVID-19 Response:
On March 12, 2020 we parked our cars not knowing when we could start training again. On May 18, 2020 Governor Baker announced the plan to re-open Massachusetts businesses and we found ourselves part of PHASE-2 and we re-opened after June 8, 2020.
**May 29 2021 update - Governor Baker’s Office has lifted some Covid-19 restrictions and In Control remains dedicated to keeping our trainees and staff safe.
To keep our staff and trainees safe from disease, we are instituting the following:
Any staff or trainee who have been in contact with someone who is sick or who themselves shows signs of illness will be asked not to participate (trainees may reschedule to a later date without penalty).
Masks will remain optional for all (we will supply for anyone who wishes to wear in classroom or vehicle…or you may bring your own)
Hand sanitizer will be available for those who wish to use it.
These practices will continue until we are instructed it is no longer necessary (and since masks do not impair vehicle operation, they will remain optional)
Driving remains one of the most dangerous things we do. Throughout this pandemic we have seen reduced traffic yet automobile crash fatalities have grown substantially. Our training is an important part of keeping you safer on our roads, we will do every necessary to make sure you’re safe in our classroom as well.
